GreenSoil Group works with a variety of partners to amplify its effectiveness and drive innovation in sustainability. We understand that tackling environmental challenges and advancing green technologies require diverse expertise, resources, and perspectives. By collaborating with partners, we can broaden the scope and scale of our initiatives to make a larger, more meaningful impact.
Sensatec Sensatec GmbH is a leading environmental remediation company based in Kiel, Germany, specializing in groundwater and soil remediation. With over 18 years of experience and more than 400 completed projects, Sensatec employs advanced in-situ technologies and specialized equipment to address a variety of environmental challenges.
Sensatec and Greensoil collaborate in different areas together. The main collaboration is however to develop innovative PFAS remediation solutions, combining their expertise to address these persistent pollutants. Known as 'forever chemicals,' PFAS are highly resistant and pose significant threats to human and environmental health. Currently, they are conducting feasibility tests at various sites using a biopolymer method and other techniques. This collaborative approach aims to optimize different strategies for effectively mitigating PFAS contamination in diverse environmental conditions.

Intrinsyx EnvironmentalIntrinsyx Environmental is at the forefront of phytoremediation, a technique that not only saves money but also sequesters carbon, displaces fossil fuel consumption, and provides an aesthetically pleasing landscape. Their biotechnology, which has proven effective on highly toxic sites, has been endorsed by the EPA and praised in prominent publications such as The New York Times, Scientific American, and Sustain Magazine.
Intrinsyx Environmental utilizes licensed endophyte technology, specializing in leveraging the power of naturally occurring endophytic microbes. This technology enhances their specially cultivated trees, plants, and grasses, improving their ability to degrade pollutants and tolerate environmental stresses. By forming symbiotic relationships with their host plants, endophytes can promote growth, improve nutrient uptake, and increase resistance to environmental stresses such as drought and disease.
Intrinsyx Environmental harnesses these natural endophyte benefits to phytoremediate degraded sites, effectively breaking down pollutants in soil and groundwater while promoting plant growth in compromised environments. Their projects encompass treating groundwater and soil on Superfund sites, retired military sites, brownfields, mining sites, and land development projects. Both state and federal regulators recognize and approve Intrinsyx’s endophyte-assisted phytoremediation as a reliable, standalone treatment method for environmental cleanup.
Both GreenSoil and Intrinsyx focus on applying sustainable remediation techniques. Although the techniques they use are different, they complement each other very well. The techniques provided by Intrinsyx are a good complement to GreenSoil's portfolio, and vice versa, the techniques used by GreenSoil complement Intrinsyx's techniques. Geographically, they also complement each other well. The basis for any cooperation should be that there is a clear interest for both parties, and this cooperation is a good example of that.
Erityisjäte / Doronova Soil & GroundwaterSuomen Erityisjäte Oy specializes in advanced techniques for the remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater. The company bought the soil and groundwater remediation business from Doranova Oy 1.2.2023 and continues the work under the name SEJ SoWa.
SoWa team employ a variety of in situ remediation technologies, which encompass biological, chemical, and physical methods designed to effectively purify contaminated environments. SEJ SoWa is capable of addressing complex contamination issues efficiently and sustainably and is a service provider of mobile purification systems of contaminated water.
In recent years, we have together carried out several successful projects in Finland. The specific knowledge and experience of GreenSoil nicely complements the knowledge, experience and local presence of Suomen Erityisjäte Oy. Considering the projects already executed, it can be said that this cooperation is successful.
